Silicon-barium alloy is an alloy product smelted by electric furnace, its smelting materials are silica, coke, steel chips, barite.

Silicon-barium alloy is widely used in steel making, casting, casting and other industries. It is an efficient and long-acting deoxidizer, and has the function of desulfurization and dephosphorization.
Silicon barium alloy uses:
1. Inoculant is suitable for gray cast iron and nodular cast iron, can promote the formation of "A" type graphite graphite ball integrity.
2. It can nucleate in a wide temperature range, and has strong spheroidization ability and anti-decay ability, which can effectively prevent the casting white mouth tendency.
3. Silica-barium alloy containing 10%-35% barium is better than silica-calcium alloy when it is used as steel deoxidizing agent. It has high utilization rate and strong desulfurization ability.
4. The addition of silicon-barium alloy can significantly change the nature and distribution characteristics of non-metallic inclusions in steel.
