Chinese silicon prices began to rise in April
In February and March, the price of silicon metal in China fell all the way due to the excessive inventory and the decrease in the purchase volume. The time came to April, because traders sold too much before, the current inventory is tight, and the price has a small correction. At present, the mainstream price of metal silicon 3-3-03 in the Chinese market has risen by 200 yuan/ton ($29 / ton) to ($1,961-2,002 / ton) from the end of last week. However, the analysis team of Hainan West Asia Import and Export Group believes that the overall trend of metal silicon is still inclined to decline, because even if the current production is reduced, the purchase volume is still relatively flat, and it is necessary to pay attention to whether electricity prices and other policies can help the market of metal silicon this year.
