Analysis of China's molybdenum concentrate output in November 2022
During November, the price of molybdenum continued to rise sharply, the enthusiasm of mine production was high, and the output increased compared with the previous month. According to incomplete statistics of Hainan West Asia Import and Export Group, there were 36 mines in production in November, and the output of molybdenum concentrate in China was 21,295 (physical tons), an increase of 440 tons from the previous month and 2,250 tons from the same period last year.
In terms of regions, Henan, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, and Heilongjiang have the largest output, respectively 4,970 tons (-100), 4,880 tons (+135), 3,545 tons (-25), and 3,400 tons (+40). It is expected that the output will remain high in December, and the output will decrease in January due to the impact of the Spring Festival.
