Chinese Manganese Flake Exporters Have Few Transactions

Due to the continued inactivity of foreign buyers, the mainstream export price for manganese flakes with a minimum purity of 99.7% is currently $1,890-1,930 per ton FOB China. Traders maintain a wait-and-see attitude towards the market outlook.
A trader from Chongqing revealed that they are currently quoting $1,920 per ton for manganese flakes with a minimum purity of 99.7%, unchanged from last week. However, due to the still weak demand, they have not concluded any transactions since last week. Their most recent transaction dates back to two weeks ago when they sold about 40 tons at $1,940 per ton FOB China. The trader maintains a cautious outlook on the market. They stated, "As foreign buyers remain cautious and some sellers in the domestic market have raised their prices, we will continue to observe the market in the coming days." The trader's monthly trade volume is about 500 tons, and they currently have no inventory.
A trader from Jiangsu revealed that they are now offering manganese flakes with a minimum purity of 99.7% at a price of $1,950 per ton. Their most recent transaction dates back to the end of June, when they sold about 260 tons at a price of $1,950 per ton. Excluding transportation costs, this price is approximately $1,940 per ton FOB China. The trader maintains a cautious outlook on the market. They stated, "As many quotes in the domestic market are still around 13,500 yuan per ton, without a significant increase compared to last week, we will cautiously observe the market in the coming days."
