Chinese Manganese Flake Prices are Sluggish
Hainan West Asia Group said that the price of manganese flakes has continued to fall recently. As of last weekend, the price of electrolytic manganese flakes 99.7% FOB Tianjin Port is as follows:
Electrolytic Mn Flakes 99.7% -- 1910 USD/MT
Compared with 1940 USD/MT in the middle of the month, there has been a price reduction of nearly 30 USD/MT.
According to Hainan West Asia Group analysis, due to the continuous decline in prices recently, most domestic Chinese traders have reduced prices more than before to accelerate the sale of inventory. Some export orders have increased, but most customers remain on the sidelines.
We expect that at the beginning of this month, the price of manganese flakes in China will stabilize at a low level and will not fluctuate too much for the time being.
