The soaring price of ferromanganese in the United States and the stable market of ferrosilicon

The price of manganese alloy in the US market is showing an upward trend, but trading at new prices has not yet been achieved. The ferrosilicon market is calm.
Due to the rapid increase in manganese ore prices, foreign manganese alloy suppliers have seen a significant increase in their quotations, prompting American sellers to increase the spot market alloy prices. Therefore, this week, the quotation for high carbon ferromanganese (75% Mn) in the United States is within the DDP range of 1400-1450 USD/T, an average increase of 200 USD/T from two weeks ago. However, despite such rapid growth, according to local market participants, interest in spot materials remains limited.
Silicon manganese (65% Si; 17% Mn) also experienced a similar situation, with a price range of 0.62-0.65 USD/pound (1366-1433 USD/T) DDP, with an average increase of 0.035 USD/pound.
The price of silicon iron (75% Si) in the United States remains within the DDP range of 1.25-1.3 USD/pound. Hainan West Asia Group believes that the current market is in a frozen state with no transactions, and everyone is watching.
