Indian silicon manganese prices are rising rapidly
According to the feedback of Indian silicon manganese manufacturers in the cooperation of Hainan West Asia Import and Export Group, the price of silicon manganese has begun to rise rapidly since April, supported by several favorable factors in the market. First, MOIL, the largest domestic manganese miner in India, increased the price of iron-grade manganese ore by 3-6% in early April, of which the price of manganese ore with manganese content of Mn44% and above increased by 6%, and the price of manganese ore with manganese content of Mn44% increased by 3%. Second, the Indian steel market is showing good signs. At present, steel (billet and rebar) prices have risen sharply in recent days, which has brought about active buying demand for silicon manganese. Third, industry operators are optimistic about the short-term market prospects. For the late silicon manganese market, most of the market operators are optimistic, Hainan West Asia Import and Export Group believes that the strong price of manganese ore and the rise in steel market prices, silicon manganese will continue to increase.
